Principles Message 20/21
Greetings Staff, Students, & Parents/Guardians,
As you all know, I have been named as the new Principal of Bryant Middle School. I am looking forward to this exciting new challenge as the Educational Leader for this great school & its dedicated staff. I also look forward to the continued process of learning & growing with our students & working with you all as professionals & that of also working with our parents & community members. My family & I are very happy that I will be establishing a new positive & exciting relationship with the DPOLJUSD community.
Parents are a vital part of Bobcat Country! We invite you to be actively involved in your child’s education. We prioritize a strong partnership between home and school. We encourage you to connect with your child each day about school and their learning: ask your child about what they are learning in school, read with your child, support them with homework and talk about how they are feeling. You are your child’s ‘first teacher’ and you are an essential part of a successful education.
Another priority at Bryant is safety, security and respect! We are here to make sure all children have a safe and supportive learning environment. We foster a mindset of growth and well-being at BMS. We are building a community of learners & leaders; Bryant Bobcats will have P.R.I.D.E. in all that they do now & in the future.
Our goal is to continue with the work that has been completed up to this point, that of ensuring that every student is provided the highest degree of quality education in the most supportive learning environment. Working as a team with our staff & parents, I want to continue with our commitment to helping each student achieve to their highest potential. Every student is appreciated & worthy of our finest effort. Extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures & we (my instructional leadership team & I) are dedicated to keeping students & staff safe, while ensuring the best education possible both in & out of the classroom.
In closing, I hope that everyone was able to have an enjoyable & relaxing summer & now looking forward to a great school year. Yes, this year will be different to say the least, but will be busy, exciting, & very rewarding for you & our students. We (my instructional leadership team & I) want you to join us in making this the very best educational experience for our students & parents. The most important element in making this possible is by being the best TEAM for students. Remember, I truly work with an OPEN DOOR POLICY & am a firm believer that there is no I in TEAM, & please “HELP ME, HELP YOU” in being the best group of educators, learners, & parents. Thanks again for your attention & do not hesitate in contacting me or any of our staff with questions or concerns at (209) 392-0240.
